Lake : all lakes are slow so its a good idea to scale your baits down.
Double red maggot for hook bait and 3 or 4 as light loose feed every cast, will help you catch nice roach and skimmers and the odd carp.
Carp are still feeding. Carp up to 15lbs have been caught so far this month.
The lake water is looking good with a light ripple most of the time, this makes it good float fishing.
